hiyo! thank you for bearing with the villainous.biz aural experience, i am surprised you are still here with me listening to each tune. you must be a masochist of some sort…

well we now come to the final track on this album known as the discarded companions guide to emotionally imediate computing; a love story and it is titled “Bruce’s Six-Shooter”. it is dedicated to the only internationally regarded symbol for asiatic strength and power, Mr. Bruce Lee. in this track i can imagine him living a life in the old west in early american history, riding horses, spitting and talking like john wayne, and of course, toting a revolver and shooting at people, places, things, nouns in general really.

yes, what an imagination i have. truly a wonder to behold. thanks again for listening. expect no more tracks. my career as a supa-star producer is done. eat your heart out, kanye west. so long rza and the wu. goodbye peanut butter wolf. yes, you may sample these, dj shadow and dr. dre, no i will not produce eminem’s next album. on monday night masterpiece cleaners went to sankt oberholz to finally install the portal/proxy server we have been working on in the past month. the installation will function as a web portal for users to authenticate with before continuing onto the internet. the server also acts as a dns and finally alleviates the connection problems that some of you may have been experiencing when trying to connect at sankt oberholz. finally, a content management infrastructure is also present so that if the cafe would ever want to move towards an online social networking scheme, it is easily scaleable to meet future demands. still in beta phase, we hope to iron out all the kinks after some daily use. Presently, there is actually two networks up and running for redundancy. all in all the installation went rather smoothly, but please feel free to visit the cafe so that you can stress test it for yourself. oh, and by the way, its secure so don’t even think about it :^P

this next track is my attempt to pay homage to the great modal jazz pioneers of the 1950’s and 60’s. this was of course a failed attempt because most of it could only be constructed at the time using chords and therefore is not modal at all, except for maybe the contrabass parts. oh well. its called “one time for the mind” and it might be nice to listen to.

“new city dirty pants” is the name of this next track and was composed (assembled?) at the time for a friend who was on her way to new york. intended to be an anthem for walking in williamsburg, i decided not to give it to her in the end because it’s a little short and would have been hella-boring to listen to on repeat. hope you like it.

before bedtime i often find myself infront of NetNewsWire for a min or 120, reading the latest headlines being fed to me by RSS. curiously enough, i noticed a secret message dispatched to me from [SmarcH] using his feed from his ‘old’ villainy.biz weblog. the contents were as follows:

Help me smallcaps you’re my only hope, tear this excuse for a blog down, build something new. or should we just keep villainy.biz as a test bed for all projects? I feel a warm embarrassment for the content that occupies this space. also i think that you are the only one that will actually read this post. hope all is well in berlin, keep rockin’ the metaverse, now that you are in your “teens”

feeling the call for help by my brother from another mother, and since i already pwn3d! all access to his entire web server, including administrator level logins & passwords for webhosting admin, ftp, and phpmyadmin (what?! no email?). there was no need to log into his old wordpress weblog, i just dropped the entire database and created a new one 😉 . deployed in its place is a shiny new installation of the latest wordpress build for him to use with some minor tweaks (its got theme-switcher dawg!)* and once he finds internet in South Africa (he is there now to take care of family matters, but will be back in berlin soon. did you know that the BCC conference hall used for 22c3 in berlin had more bandwidth then all of Africa… the continent, not the Bambaataa.) lets hope it serves him well.

Finding no better subject/excuse to blog in the field, here is a shot of sabruno, koala and myself stuffed into the yellowmetalsardinebratworstonwheels we affectionately call the Ubahn.

i am sending this using my pda (personal data assistant?), simply because i can. Yes, its a kind of techno-masturbation but like all true loves, i am sure we will last past the kinky years, although i did try to take some pix of the pda shooting itself. alas, it wasn’t flexable enough.

The three of us and smarch are looking for a new place in berlin to call home. Another plus in berlin is that there are actually more empty appartments then there are renters. This doesn’t mean they are all Kirschen and whipped cream, but hopes are high. If anyone in berlin knows of a nice cheap place that 4 can call home, please let me know and you will be rewarded with the respect and adoration of your peers!.. We can make dinner for you too, if that helps..
